Internal and external communication and marketing includes any documents, presentations, meetings and conferences, advertisements, intranet and internet websites and any other mode of communication and marketing used by an organisation to communicate with employees, customers and stakeholders.

  • Employees should be aware of appropriate etiquette and communication when interacting with colleagues, applicants, and customers/clients with disability.
  • There should be alternative ways of contacting your organisation.
  • The needs of people with disability should be met by ensuring websites and web content, both Internet and Intranet, are accessible according to the World Wide Web Consortium’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0.
